The #UCDFOOD project is a campus-wide healthy eating awareness initiative. With the support of Estate Services and the catering companies we are introducing “healthy options” on the menus in Pi and the Main Restaurant and providing nutrition information so that staff and students can make informed choices.
The #UCDFOOD Team is running the #UCDFOOD Healthy Eating Week, led by Dr Aifric O’Sullivan, UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science in connection with Odhran Lawlor, UCD Hospitality Services Manager.
There is a big team of staff and students behind the event with PhD student Yvonne Lenighan coordinating all activities. The catering companies on campus are playing a huge role too with a variety of initiatives planned across the week. The #UCDFOOD project is one of this year’s SPARC (Supporting Partnerships And Realising Change) projects.
