Due to a burst water main in the F-G ground floor area of the Newman building some services are being disrupted to facilitate emergency works.
A section of pipe needs to be replaced and the toilets and tea stations in the area remain closed in order to ensure safety.
The replacement works will take place in the coming days.
UCD Estate Services apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The issue has been resolved temporarily and the works to replace the section of the pipe damaged will be schedule for the coming days.
The toilets and tea stations in the area remain closed until the replacement pipe is installed. Signs remain in place.

While the issue awaits for a permanent fix, a cleaning crew is at the scene removing all water and drying out the area to make it safe again. However, water services and power will remain off until it is safe to restore them.
Signs remain in place, and stewards are in the area. Please follow any instructions given by Estate Services staff if you are in the vicinity.
