August - September 2023Summary:
Annual Road & Surface Maintenance will be commencing in the month of August. Updates of scheduled works which have significant impact will be posted in this service update in advance of commencement.
Monday 14th August:
For a period of two weeks works will be taking place in the area of the N11/R138 entrance to facilitate drainage works for the Centre For Future Learning Building. Pedestrian and vehicular access will be maintained at all times and a traffic management plan is in place. For the duration of the works a secondary vehicular access route to car park N2 will be closed. To view an image of the works area click here
Friday 18th August
Steps at car park N1 (old running track) and W5 (Church) will be closed for replacement works
Monday 21st August
Car Park O5 (Merville & Glenomena Laundry) will be closed to facilitate improvement works to the access road to the car park. Access will be retained for service, maintenance and emergency vehicles
Tuesday 22nd August
Surface repairs will be taking place at various points along the main campus ring road between August 22nd – August 23rd inclusive. Local stop/go & traffic arrangements will be in place as required
Thursday 24th August
Sections of Car Park N2 (O’Reilly Hall) will be closed to facilitate surface repairs to parking spaces & circulation routes. Service, delivery & emergency access and access to disabled parking spaces will be managed during this time.
Thursday 31st August
Car Park W4 (Agriculture & James Joyce Library) will be closed to facilitate remedial works to the junction & circulation routes. Service, delivery & emergency access and access to disabled parking spaces will be managed during this time.
Thursday 31st August
Extension of the pedestrian route at the N11 entrance will be taking place. Thursday 31st August – Friday September 8th inclusive. Local pedestrian rerouting arrangements will be in place as required
