Belfield Campus Scheduled Power Outages

The campus wide annual Medium Voltage (MV) Maintenance is provisionally scheduled for the following buildings:

• 6-7.30am Tues 31st May: Science Hub
• 6-7.00am Wed 1st June: Créche / Rosemount
• 6-7.30am Thursday 2nd June: Science West/North
• 6-8.00am Tues 7th June: Library / Reader’s / Student Union Shop / Book Shop / Careers and Appointments / Information and Library Studies
• 6-7.30am Thursday 9th June: Student Centre
• 4-5.30am Friday 10th June: SLLS
• 6-7.30am Friday 10th June: Sports Centre
• 6-7.30am Tuesday 14th June: Conway / Charles Institute
• 6-7.30am Wednesday 15th June: Engineering / Clinton Auditorium / Bike Shop
• 6-7.30am Wednesday 16th June: Computer Science / Computer Centre
• 6-7.30am Tuesday 21st June: O’Reilly Hall / NVRL / CRID / Ardmore House

MV maintenance is necessary to ensure the reliability of the installed switchgear. It typically lasts for one hour and means there will be no power available during the work. Please contact us at estates@ucd.ie if there are any special shut-down or start up procedures to be noted before the test.

Please arrange that no overnight experiments are scheduled before the test. Please communicate this notice across your School.
