In order to facilitate the upgrade of the Centra convenience store in Merville, it will close from 2.00pm on Tuesday 20th December 2016 until 9.00am on Tuesday 10th January 2017. It is envisaged that the inconvenience will be kept to a minimum with the noisiest days on Wednesday 21st December when the old equipment is being removed and Tuesday 3rd January 2017 when the new units arrive. Traditionally the convenience store closes over the Christmas so there will be an extension of approximately one week in order to enhance the experience.
In addition the UCD Dart Shuttle bus will continue to run until next Thursday, December 22 and restart on January, Tuesday 3, so if students require to do a bigger shop, the service can be used to get to the Merrion shopping centre.
