Power outage affecting Belfield Campus

Power has been restored to UCD Belfield Campus. ESB have confirmed that they have rectified the fault that affected power supply to UCD after 6pm this evening.
All buildings and services are expected to operate as normal tomorrow.

Power is being restored to UCD Belfield campus. We are still awaiting final confirmation from ESB Networks that the root cause of the problem has been fully addressed.

We are still awaiting for an updated time to resolution on the current fault affecting Belfield campus. Around 18:00 a second fault developed affecting UCD and neighbouring areas to the Belfield campus.
ESB Networks have confirmed that they are working to resolve the issue as a matter of urgency.

ESB Networks have confirmed that they second fault that developed outside of UCD affecting Belfield Campus is being remedied by their team and that the are working to a target time of 19:00.

Richview buildings will close early today, as fault remains in the vicinity. While we continue to work on a temporary supply it is expected Richview buildings will be operating as normal tomorrow.

Power has been restored to all areas in Belfield campus except Richview. A fault remains in the vicinity of the Richview buildings and a temporary power source is being provided at the moment. If you are still experiencing issues please email estates@ucd.ie or call (01)7167000.

Please note that due to an electrical fault on power to several buildings on the Belfield campus are currently without power. Our technical is working to remedy the situation . Further updates will be issued, but in the meantime, please follow any direction given by UCD Estate Services representatives.
