UCD Rás 2019 – Campus Arrangements

The 2018 UCD Rás is taking place on campus on Saturday 06/04/19 at 10:30. There will be no vehicle through access from the N11 entrance to the Clonsekeagh entrance for the duration of the event between the times 09:30 – 11:45.

As parts of the race will be taking place on sections of the main campus ring road there will be traffic diversions & restrictions in place to facilitate the event on the morning. Pedestrian and cycle access remains unchanged. Traffic stewards will be in place at key junctions to inform campus users of diversions.

Friday 06/04/19
The below car parks will close at midnight and will remain closed until the end of the event. Once the event is underway any vehicles parked in these car parks will be unable to leave until the event has concluded:

W1 (Water Tower)
W4 (Church)
W5 (Rear of Agriculture)
O1 (Observatory)

Saturday 06/04
A section of the campus ring road network from the traffic calming barrier at the rear of the Library to the Sports Centre roundabout will be closed to vehicular traffic from from 09:30.

The Clonskeagh Gate will be closed to vehicular traffic at 10:45 for the duration of the event. Alternative access to campus via the Clonskeagh Road will be through the Newstead Gate. Access to Richview remains unaffected.
