Cleaning – Breakdown – Medium Level

Priority Level – Medium: Fortnightly clean and M&R Cleaner to respond to requests; rubbish removed biweekly

Offices

Expected InputExpected Output
•       Vacuum carpet floor area and rugs until visibly free of dust and debris.•       Carpeted floor areas free of obvious staining, dust build-up or superficial scuff marks.
•       Sweep and periodic spray buff all vinyl floors.•       Hard/vinyl floor uniform in appearance, free from marking and visually pleasing.
•       Empty all waste receptacles and remove rubbish to a designated area in the building for disposal, replace bin liners. Wash receptacles as necessary on rotating basis.•       Level surfaces/walls/lockers/ skirting boards free of dust or marks.
•       Dust the horizontal surfaces of furniture, fixtures and business equipment (within reach of the average person), i.e. tops of desks, tables, chairs shelf units and filing cabinets.•       Doors and internal glass wiped down and free from build-up of markings, finger marks, general dust and water mark splashes.
•       Dust pictures, edges and exposed surfaces.•       Bins emptied, disinfected and clean of dirt, smudges or spills.
•       Damp wipe /clean all doors surfaces.•       Bin liner replaced.
•       Clean any internal glass so that it is free of marks.•       Glass free from build-up of markings, finger marks, general dust.
•       Remove cobwebs at ceiling level high level.•       Skirting boards free of dust or marks.
•       All furniture/fixtures to be uniform in appearance, dust free, build-up and other debris.
•       Free of high-level dust/cobwebs on ceiling and walls.

General internal stairwells

•       Vacuum carpeted floor area until visibly free of dust and debris.•       Carpeted floor areas free of obvious staining, dust build-up or superficial scuff marks
•       Vacuum/ sweep and wash hard floor areas.•       Hard Floor uniform in appearance, free from marking and visually pleasing.
•       Periodic buff of hard floors using a buffing machine and appropriate buffing pad.•       Stairs and stair-treads visibly clean and dry
•       Sweep, wash and dry the stair treads, toughened glass and landings.•       Walls / skirting boards free of dust or marks
•       Empty and clean all bins, replace bin liners.•       Doors and internal glass wiped down and free from build-up of markings, finger marks, general dust and water mark splashes
•       Clean walls, to hand height level.•       Bins emptied, disinfected and clean of dirt, smudges or spills.
•       Clean doors / glazed panels, so that they are free of marks.•       Artwork and sculptures dusted (upon request)
•       Dust all level surfaces.•       Handrails clean and free from staining, dust build-up, scuff marks and fingerprints
•       Spot clean any marks on walls using approved cleaning agent and cloth.
•       Vacuum all mats.
•       Dust all artworks and sculptures with extreme care.
•       Damp wipe skirting boards, window ledges.

Office support rooms (Copy rooms and Stationary rooms)
