Power outage affecting Belfield Campus

ESB have confirmed that they have rectified the fault that affected power supply to UCD after 3pm this afternoon. All buildings and services are expected to operate as normal.

Power has been restored to UCD Belfield Campus. We are awaiting confirmation from ESB Networks Ireland that the fault has been fully rectified.

The power outage affecting Belfield is due to an external fault on the network affecting a wider area. ESB Networks Ireland are working to rectify the issue as a matter of urgency. UCD Technical Services will continue to work on preparing the network in advance of power being restored.

Please note that due to an electrical fault on power to several buildings on the Belfield campus are currently without power. Our technical team is working to remedy the situation . Further updates will be issued, but in the meantime, please follow any direction given by UCD Estate Services representatives.
